Writing something at last

Three month sabbatical - now I'm back.

Lots to talk about. Just couldn't be mithered writing anything - though that isn't helpful when writing a blog, I suppose.

Got a new car last week. After five years, the Saxo got just too expensive to repair. Didn't help that the exhaust fell off for the second time, this time round the Stoke area. The good thing is that the road recovery people have their depot a whole two minutes away.

Amyway, I am now the slightly less flustered owner of a Honda Civic that has five doors, automatic gearbox, air conditioning and lots of boot space. It's also relatively clutter-free so poele wanting lifts don't need to spend ten minutes removing my crap from the back seat. The casette player works too, which is a bonus going on long journeys. Now I don't have to listen to crap FM with its same songs. (currently Scissor Sisters, Paper dreams - which should rhyme but doesn't and AN other, possible Suagrbabes)

Other things pissing me off at the moment -
BBC making a song and dance of having cricket highlights, then plonking them on after 11pm.

England's rugby team being worse than useless.

Having no money.

After more than 18 months of going out, still living nowhere near my girlfriend

Letting agency charging more than £50 for a renewing of my contract, which consists of them fielding a phonecall from my landlord, photocopying a contract and then writing a letter to me. It also took them two weeks for them to do this. I will get my revenge though. When I buy a house and they want to know why I don't use them, I'll explain that charging a lot of money for doing sod all is not what I count as good service.

That's enough now, I'm off to play Poker on-line. Or maybe work. Who can say?
